How to properly defrost fish and seafood.

To defrost fish and seafood safely and get the most out of their properties, we recommend following these simple tips:

  • If it's raw...
To defrost it, it's best to do so in the bottom rack of the refrigerator the night before you're ready to eat it. You can also defrost it quickly under cold running water, removing the surface layer of ice and submerging it for a few minutes.
Remember to defrost only what you are going to consume and keep the rest as tightly sealed as possible.
  • If it's cooked...
To defrost it, it is best to do so in the lower part of the refrigerator the night before eating it.
Remember to defrost only what you are going to consume and keep the rest as tightly sealed as possible.
  • If precooked:
Our easy-to-cook products are fried without defrosting in plenty of very hot oil (180°C) for approximately 3 minutes until golden brown. Avoid adding too many at once to ensure they cook thoroughly.
Easier! You can preheat your oven to 220°C and bake without defrosting for 8-10 minutes with a fan. If your oven doesn't have a fan, bake on high grill for the last 2 minutes for a super crispy coating!

By doing so you will enjoy all its flavor with complete safety!
