Roman rings

What do we need?

🔸 600g of raw Delfín squid rings
🔸 1 lemon
🔸 1 cup of flour
🔸 2 eggs
🔸 Extra Virgin Olive Oil
🔸 Sal Island

1️⃣ Pour a small cup of flour into a bowl or deep plate, and in another plate, beat two eggs. First, dip each ring in the flour, shake off any excess, and then repeat with the egg.

2️⃣ Once the rings are ready, heat a frying pan with a couple of cups of oil. When it's hot, fry the rings (the oil should cover them). Avoid stacking them on top of each other to prevent them from sticking together. Fry them over high heat until they turn golden brown. When they're done, turn them over and let them cook on the other side.

3️⃣ Finally, we take our Roman-style rings out onto a plate lined with kitchen paper to absorb the excess oil and serve them piping hot.
