Caella, a healthy fish similar to dogfish or swordfish

We'll tell you all about the dogfish , one of the most commonly eaten fish in our kitchen. It's sometimes confused with other fish like the tope shark or the swordfish.

What is caella?

The caella is a large shark ( cartilaginous fish ) (about 3 meters) and with an average weight of about 85 Kg.

Its physical appearance and temperament are those of a shark, hence its association with the blue shark . They are very aggressive, fast fish and can be found near the surface of the Andalusian and Mediterranean coasts (to a lesser extent), although they can also be found on coasts all over the world.
